OUR STORY

Dash of Gold is designed and handcrafted with love in Byron Bay; a vibrant eclectic coastal town on the most easterly point of Australia. The jewellery is a durable, lightweight wearable art made from resin and surgical-grade stainless steel. It inspires a sense of wonder, gift-giving, and spreading joy. Influenced by the love of adventure, travels, dreams, connection to nature, and all living things, every piece is a celebration of life, individuality, and unique expression. There is also a limited edition lightweight handmade clay collection, each piece is a one-off, and unique. All earrings come in beautiful eco-friendly packaging and with every purchase, customers have a chance to select a charity to give back to the community and to protect our environment.

Creative director Dasha Gold and her husband Colin Gold are passionate about sustainability, reducing the environmental impact, restoring our land and oceans, supporting women, and assisting local communities. The company uses small-batch manufacturing to reduce waste, earrings come in FSC certified boxes, reusable 100% cotton pouches, and compostable satchels. Dash of Gold partnered with ‘No Issue packaging alliance’, which plants trees in the area of need for every order made. The duo is committed to supporting three life-changing projects with i=Change, working with charities that align with the company values and allow customers to shop with purpose; empowering their customers to be involved in making a difference and give back to one of the three lifechanging projects with every order they make.
